Playground Psychotics è un doppio album live di Frank Zappa. E’ stato pubblicato nel 1992 e ristampato nel 1995. Tutti i brani sono di Frank tranne dove indicato diversamente nella lista.
Contiene registrazioni di Zappa e dei Mothers of Invention che risalgono ai tempi del film 200 Motels.
Il materiale live si alterna ad estratti di conversazioni tra i componenti della band durante il tour (A Typical Day on the Road Part 1 – Part 2e The True Story of 200 Motels, che appare alla fine del secondo disco).
Il doppio album include anche il concerto tenuto da Zappa insieme a John Lennon e Yoko Ono, in un missaggio alternativo rispetto a quello di Lennon apparso su Some Time in New York City (1972).
